yep, makes that night even more egregious. so not only does alleva know miles is a creep, the dude also deserves to be fired for sucking on the field. but they opt to keep him. really poor leadership from everyone (governor, president, ad etc).

Clearly these decisions like contract extensions were being made over his head and the BOS was undermining him. We all have bad things to say about alleva but the BOS pulling this shite is a problem when it comes to running a well functioning organization

I was screaming for Miles to be fired on the spot post-1/9/12 but what do I know. There was zero excuse for that.

Evidently not, because when it came to light, Alleva was doing the right thing to recommend to fire Les with cause, which would void his contract and buyout.
All you who dissed Alleva in the past, need to slow down. Sure he had some flaws but who doesn't. He got the Ed Orgeron hire correct, bought into the binder and LSU has another Natty to hang on the wall. These next 2 years will be the deciding factor for if O was a homerun hire or not. However, I'm still smiling from the 2019 season... In fact, will post this and watch the Oklahoma game for the 10th time
