This is just such a better brand of basketball. Why does the SEC not just LSU suck so much compared to this? It just seems like they are on another level. The play really disciplined ball, and make you pay for mistakes. The actual way basketball is supposed to be played. Either way... carry on, GEAUX Tigers

Oh I get it, trust me, I guess it’s just the difference in geography. We’re all football in the south

If you watched the Arky game last Saturday, they had a clinic with their offense. Their ball movement was a thing of beauty and I hate Arky

SEC outside of KY has been pretty weak in basketball for a while. Nothing new.

It really is enjoyable watching Big 10 teams but you will see that all of them will have a terrible game once in a while. Michigan is very good but their only loss was ugly and lopsided. Sometimes, teams have good games; some times things just don't go well.

I wish our fans understood this and wouldn't crap all over our players and coaches when a bad game surfaces.

Illinois beat Michigan 76-53, The winners shot 30-64 46% with 9 assists and 13 turnovers.

The losers shot 17-49 for 34 % with 4 assists and 12 turnovers.

Yeah, that game was a thing of beauty.

Its always nice to see these sanctimonious comments from those who believe they are smarter than the rest of us.

The Big-10 is overrated and everyone who watches basketball knows this. The SEC is down this year but the Big-10 will show its true colors in the Dance like always.

Is that why the Big10 has 1 national championship in the last 30 years, and the SEC has 6?
They are pretty good at losing the big game though, as they have lost in the championship game 9 times in the last 30 years.
SO they are 1-9 in the championship game the last 30 years. SEC is 6-4.
And yes i'm talking about basketball, not football, but i can see where you might be confused by these numbers.

Big 10, ACC, Big 12 have better coaching and fans support basketball better than SEC...just like the SEC has better coaching and fan support in football and baseball

It’s superior athletes versus disciplined techniques. Always great to see these teams meet in the dance. Usually 50/50 on who comes out on top. But yes def two brands of same game
