I'll go you one better on that one.
After Lanier struck out, Hawthorne said "And now it will take a base hit, an error, a wild pitch, or something"
I always thought the "or something" part was crazy because Hawthorne (or anyone else) could have listed 50 or so "somethings" that could have happened and NONE of them would have listed a Morris HR as a possibility.

...and I’m sure many of us know the rest.
ETA: If you were just going for a phrase and not an exact quote, then forget what I said.

I actually play the 1971 LSU-ND video on YouTube about once every 6 months just so I can never forget what that voice sounded like.
