Yeah, but that same team needed a bad Tennessee team having 13 guys on the field to avoid getting beat at home, a lucky bounce on a questionable fake field goal call against Florida, a goalline stand against UNC, a last minute touchdown against a bad Ole Miss team, and got beat by 2 scores by Arkansas. That was not a championship caliber team by any measure, though they looked that way in the Cotton Bowl.

I had Directv Stream so no dish involved. I think a lot of the people mad at Directv probably had the streaming option as opposed to the dish, boxes, etc. it is just like all the other streaming services and pretty user friendly. Switched to YouTube TV as soon as it cut out before the game.

Funny that the game that started LSU’s turnaround was partially the result of the refs giving the other team a free field goal attempt. In the loss to Troy, the clock apparently ran out, but the refs reviewed and put two secs back on the clock, allowing Troy to kick a field goal. This 3 points was ultimately the difference in the game, just as occurred with Auburn and Bama yesterday. The rule needs to be changed because substitutions should not be possible in those situations. However, I think that loss to Troy was a necessary low point for LSU to get to where they are today

#1 seed gets closest venue or their choice. If it’s against Bama or Clemson, I could see some consideration against playing in Atlanta because either of those teams’ fans would outnumber LSU there because of proximity

All everyone heard from media, coaches and players is how awesome Giles looked in the transfer seasons he had to sit out. He was first team All Big XII before coming to LSU. Had he produced like expected, he was only going to be at LSU one year. It was his time for the spotlight, and he bombed.

I would hope LSU would make the SECCG under this scenario. If not, it would mean Auburn went 8-0 or 7-1 in the SEC. 10-2 with that schedule and a win in the SECCG probably gets up in the playoff
