You would live in Augusta? Really? But not Columbus or some of those other cities? The others on your list, I can see.

Why the hell do you people keep putting Texas cities here? The question is specific to southeastern cities. Texas is not the southeast.

I left Iowa just as soon as I could and you’d have to pay me far more than I am worth to get me to live within 700 miles of there.

City of Jacksonville itself sucks. Surrounding areas of Jacksonville have great places to live, some of the best in the country.

None, but would consider the suburbs or exurbs of most.

It’s amazing that the inner cities of so many American cities are disgusting shitholes, or at least huge swaths are disgusting shitholes. One would think those inner areas should all be prime real estate and the outskirts should be the cheap poor areas. Section 8, I guess.

Atlanta is the most overrated city I’ve ever been to.

Jacksonville Beach is probably one of the most underrated places in the south.

Thomasville Rd in Tallahassee is almost spectacular.

Edgewater Dr in Orlando used to be really cool. Been a while though.

This is true. I work in Daytona currently and Jax as a city is depressing, areas around it are comfy.

Yup, another nice area. Especially as you go further north.

Some of the adjacent areas from Mobile are among the best places anywhere in the US to live if you are trying to raise a family.

For me...in no order...

Atlanta
Montgomery
Birmingham (in city limits)
Tallahassee
New Orleans
Baton Rouge
Memphis
Houston
Little Rock
Orlando
Jackson
Charlotte
Columbus (maybe not so large)

Most of those cities I wouldn't consider large.
