Pretty neat pick up today. Casey’s is a gas station/convenience store up here in the Midwest. Mainly lowa and Illinois. Well, their central Illinois locations had a few random places get a 375ml Buffalo Trace store pick. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a mini Buffalo Trace before. Pretty neat to stumble upon it.

Similar to first impressions. Typical Willett profile, cinnamon, dates, a bit of mint, and smoke, then a layer of honey on top of it. It’s definitely not the best Willett SiB that I’ve had, but it’s a good pour.

ETA: you're probably SOL, because it appears that Alabama has strict laws against shipping spirits in to the state. Here in Louisiana, we could easily find it online and get it shipped to our homes.
