Evening gents
I had a bottle that turned. It was a Nulu finished in Amburana barrels. It was black. I poured it and was like wtf. Never seen that before

Just an update:

Wickowick and I picked an excellent makers barrel in july. It's coming in a week or so. After the old eagle rare pick, this is the best pick I have ever sat in on (my barrel or just to assist).

Someone else that buys numerous picks (not on here) sat in on a sazerac pick with me that should be coming within a month.

I would like others to sit in on future picks too. Its a fun and great experience.

Please wait to email/text me until bottles come in(i will post it), but please let me know if there is interest on sitting in on a pick. Those that have bought a lot and over a long time would be considered. I would love everyone to have the experience.

Plus, if it's at my house, I will pour some more good stuff.

The picking of the Maker's barrel was really unique. If you aren't familiar, you don't really pick a barrel but instead, make a blend with 5 different barrel-proof barrels in 10% increments. It took us almost 2 hours to complete. To start, you taste and discuss the 5 different barrels on their own merit and then make combinations to come up with a final product.

Maker's then blends the barrel and ages it some more.

Good evening gentlemen. The makers experience sounds like a lot of fun. I've enjoyed all of the private barrels I've tried from them.

TA lmk when picks become available. I'm a sucker for a good barrel pick. I've done a bulleit pick (decent experience, decent pick) and one at WR with Chris Morris of all people (decent pick, amazing experience to have the godfather pick a blend with you). puffulufogous@gmail.com

Anyone score on the total wine pappy and btac selections?
