Hmmm, my dad was a roughneck for 35 years. His specialty was 'a down hole man'. That did not refer to sex with my mom. That meant he was the guy who got the bit out of the bottom of the hole when it broke off the drilling pipe. Sometimes it took all day.
I'm not sure that skill transfers to making solar panels.

What an idiotic statement on several levels.
So, these folks are going to have to start from scratch in their careers to learn a new trade (and take a pay cut and move to another city), so that they can make a product that requires metals that must be mined by diesel and gas burning vehicles, so half of the country can be completely covered in said solar panels.

Well, there were many Obama gave tax dollars too, that were coincidentally all owned by friends and campaign contributors. They all, inexplicably, went belly up...meanwhile these executives in the pocket of the Obama's, never got the ire or hate from the left, as say CEO's of O&G or other corporations...
