Certainly sounds like we’re zeroing in on our man? Anybody have any inside scoop on our talks with Schumann?????

I don’t know much about him except the following:
1. He’s very young, like 32.
2. Went to Alabama
3. Did not play college football
4. Looks just like Joe Brady.

I’ll say no for 3 valid reasons:
1. He’s a ginger. O hates red heads.
2. He cannot grow a sufficient beard. His mustache doesn’t even touch in the middle of his lip.
3. He wears sweat shirts during practices. Who does he think he is, Billy Belichek?
Just all kinds of red flags here.

He was Kirbys right hand man at Alabama and was one of his first hires when he got the UGA gig. Very highly regarded and a very good linebackers coach.

Please just stop!! This is what some of you guys do. Find a BS source(link), get your hopes up for a candidate that you like, then out comes conflicting stories about a deal or no deal... then blame O for not locking it up. Then you'll melt on the board about this being a complete Shitshow. So please just stop, PLEASE. Its all leverage. Trying to get what they want from Georgia. Freeman did it with ND, Neilson did it with Saints, and Arnett tried it with State. Now its Schumann's time. I'll just wait on Blake Baker...lol

I was listening to Rene Nadeau this morning on the Trahan/Daniels Tailgater's show. He said that Schumann was interviewing this weekend and that he thought LSU would be hiring its coach in the next couple of days. He didn't call it a done deal (everyone has learned their lesson on that) but the implication was that it was his job to lose right now. Does not sound like a bad hire.
