It started off as Bad Company 3, then they had no idea in what direction to take it, and it then morphed into BF6.

Have actually been Playing Bad Company 2 a few nights the past couple weeks. Still the GOAT for me. # is a very very very very close 2nd.

They need to follow the CoD model: make it free to entice casuals and hope the gameplay core grows the fan base. They could use a really good marketing campaign and not fricking it up.

I've been a BF fan since the beginning, and by time BFBC 1&2 and BF4 came out I wouldn't even buy CoD games anymore.
Battlefield 5 being such a cluster and the release of Warzone at the start of the pandemic has pushed me over to CoD. Not that MW and CW are great games but I play to level up guns for Warzone.
Its the Warzone effect that a year later my squad is still playing 5 nights a week, something Battlefield (unfortunately) hasn't had in a while, if ever.
Battlefield 5 being such a cluster and the release of Warzone at the start of the pandemic has pushed me over to CoD. Not that MW and CW are great games but I play to level up guns for Warzone.

Im the same way, I was a huge COD guy growing up and into college. Was an absolute dog at the Modern Warfares, didnt really like the black ops iterations of the games as much and zombies wasn't enough to make me buy the game. Eventually it all started to just feel like the same thing so I switched to Battlefield. BF4 was the one I really cranked out a ton of time in and I got pretty fricking good at the multiplayer. But Battlefield eventually lost its way with BF5 and when Warzone came out I got instantly hooked. Enough that I bought the full game which was the first COD I had bought in probably 5 or 6 years. I will be cautiously optimistic about this Battlefield, but I am going to need to see more before I make the switch again.

Dice desperately needs a win. They shite the bed by every conceivable metric in battlefield v. Frankly, I’ve been unimpressed with every title they have released since bf4.
