LSU BoS wants an end to relationship with Rouse's

These idiots really aren't going to let this go. I especially love how now they are trying to tie Rouse going to a rally to racism.
I wonder what kind of job that AA Studies degree gets you?

An LSU board of supervisors member asked Friday whether the university could explore severing its relationship with Rouses Supermarkets over co-owner Donald Rouse Sr.'s attendance at a protest at the U.S. Capitol last week that has since led to dozens of arrests related to violent break-ins.
A photo of Rouse with former Rouses personnel director, Steve Galtier, at the rally circulated widely last week after protesters stormed the Capitol in attempt to derail the congressional vote certifying Joe Biden's election as president. Rouse said last week he left the pro-Trump rally before it turned violent, and he condemned the violence.
Rouses became the official grocery partner of LSU Athletics in 2019, giving the regional grocer premium signage and advertising during LSU games and inside of athletic venues on campus. Rouses provides catering through the partnership, and receives tickets and other perks.
Temple said Friday that it's time for LSU to re-explore that relationship.
“What Rouses says reflects on LSU," Temple said. "What Donny Rouse posted on Facebook reflects on LSU.”
Temple brought up the issue at the meeting's end, when he requested to deliver a personal statement that was not listed on the board's agenda. He said that as LSU moves forward with diversity initiatives — including the board's recent approval of an African American studies department and major — the incident involving Rouse needed to be addressed as well.

Funny, I’ve never supported Rouses more.

They have dug themselves into a hole they will never get out of. Pathetic.

The BoS member was promptly told to "shut their fricking mouth," as the rest of the members feared the report would be leaked to the media and they would lose those sweet dollar bills.

If Rouses was smart they would pull all of their LSU merchandise and replace it with Tulane, U of L, and UNO merchandise ASAP.

LSU has gone to the dogs.
They are losing their support by alienating local businesses.

I didn't know y'all were getting an AA curriculum.
As I understand it, there are some profs with UNC on their resumes who are good at teaching Swahili self taught for two years of language credits. And they are currently no longer on the UNC faculty.

This is why people are scared to let blacks into their institutions or neighborhoods. Most may be good or great but there are always a few that you have to bow down to and if you don't you are "racist." Anybody that says no to this proposition will be labeled as a Nazi and white supremacist so they'll have to go along with it even though Rouse was only expressing his first amendment rights. If this is the case, any and all professors and students should be separated from the university if they were at a BLM protest that turned violent.

And use LSU shirts to wrap fish in the seafood market.

Tulane ULL and UNO are just as woke and wouldn’t want that partnership. Frick this pc culture

Apparently you can't have opposing viewpoints anymore if you aren't a liberal. #breakingnews

The main difference between Donnie Rouse and the rioters is that Rouse has stuff to lose while the rioters do not.
If you have things to lose, don't put yourself in a situation where you can lose it all.
It was obvious that no matter what happened the main stream media and the "all inclusive" left was going to try to pin point every prominent person in Washington they could and blast them as racists trying to overthrow the government.
There are two reasons the right can't win this kind of fight. 1) We have a lot to lose because we own things. 2) The media covers the turmoil in a way to paint one side as having a "Just" cause while the other is fighting to uphold "injustice". No matter what the right does, if its not groveling at the feet of minorities and/or other fringe groups, then its racism and unfortunately there is no way to fight back against those claims unless you bend the knee like Drew Brees.
Edit: I just wanted to add that this situation infuriates me and my post is not supporting such views, just articulating the actual situation at hand. And to reiterate that its much easier to fight for a cause when you have nothing to lose.
