One thing is for certain, this series will have to be binged in its entirety after all the episodes are out.

I bet that was in Disney’s pitch. “It may be confusing, but we guarantee you everyone who watches it every week will binge the whole thing again immediately.”

I think people are also missing the fact that they are playing with the run times and other elements of the show that traditional sitcoms couldn't. I mean the first episode was 29 minutes and the second was 36. They weren't told they needed to have X amount of episodes, aren't worried about a second season, or several other factors. They are doing everything on their own terms.

They could have easily combined the first two episodes for an hour long episode but they had a clear idea of what they wanted to do.

But I also will point out that I really like classic sitcoms, as I could watch Dick Van Dyke, I Love Lucy, and Bewitched all day. So I am definitely a bias opinion.

Not every episode of a series has to be plot intensive

When it’s a limited series it sure as hell better be

The first two episodes have been heavy on character building, relationship building, and setting the mood of the show

This did none of that especially since the show is going to shift big time in tone.

Bet you hated most of season 1 of Mando too

Actually liked it quite a bit. Sorry I hit a nerve, nerd.

You've never had an original thought about the arts, entertainment, or politics. Someone disagrees with your borrowed opinion and you immediately go to your meme files to see what the appropriate response is.

If you're going to clutch onto this imaginary board position of yours where you have to be the person to start "official" threads (even when you haven't seen the movie or program), please keep your mouth shut while the adults are talking.

People like you who need their hand held and walked through every scene of a show having everything explained to you like you are 5 is why shows like Game of Thrones went to shite.

It’s comical seeing the people here trying to defend this mess

I’m sure it’ll get better once they drop the sitcom stuff but the first episode is getting widely panned and it should be.

We watched it last night. It's fine for what it's going for, but I can't see kids enjoying this. My son checked out quickly.

I did really like the performances though. Bettany and Olson are really good.

Is 9 episodes considered a “limited series” these days?

Seems pretty standard

I think it’s considered limited in that it’s not expected to have a second season.

Eh, I enjoy the first two episodes and like someone else said, I will likely rewatch the whole show when all episodes are released.

This will lead into Doctor Strange and Spider-Man which I am excited to watch.

Technically, the show will evolve to mirror certain shows from different eras to show evolution through character and plot development. It’s a bit of a trope, or metaphor, that lends to make sense of what is going on inside of Wanda’s head.

Is there any way that they get to “the 90s” and not throw in a Full House joke or two with Wanda lol.

You’re getting all pissy because a troll has an opinion and I merely quoted what you said and let you know it could be worse. No need to get pissy with me
