best duck hunting shotgun

In the market for a new shotgun for next year. for the past ~18 years ive shot a beretta A390 silver mallard that i have loved. but its starting to rust and its getting worn.
I like the thought of the BE.S.T. coating that benelli is doing on the SBE III. Would love to not worry about rust/ corrosion but is that worth 2K? Is a regular SBE worth $1700?
anyone have experience with franchi affinity?
a buddy also has told me about Retay, anyone have one of those?
Just looking for advice on a reliable/ durable gun that i can be happy with for the forseeable future as someone who goes duck hunting about 4-5x a year.
TIA

Sangle Barrel H&R for the few ducks you will see and fewer you'll pull a trigger on.
None are worth what they charge for what you get.
Cera Kote your 390 and have it smithed.

The most expensive one you can afford bro.
I have an old Remington 870 pump 3" with a sling, tough as they get.

kind of like asking, what's the best truck or rifle caliber (.243 btw), or which 12 shell for ducks (3.5 bb)
It's all subjective
I have 2 Benelli and like them. Have put both through hell in the AR gumbo mud.

This is really a discussion of what is the best shotgun for you OP.
I bought a Beretta Extrema II in 2008 that hasn't missed a beat. It runs everything from low brass on the skeet/sporting clay range to the heaviest duck or goose loads made today. It is already a low recoiling shotgun compared to other semi-autos but when you add in the new recoil system on the new Beretta's the recoil is even less.
However that is for me. You have to decide for yourself.

There is a reason this company went bankrupt and it isn't because they were building "the best duck hunting shotgun"
They the fastest rusting POS one can buy.

Winchester Super X 12 Guage.
Never jams, doubles as a paddle, no complex technology that will screw you in the elements. Old reliable.

I hunted with 4 other guys in december. Two had the SBE III and two had the new berreta A400 plus (the newest model they released around the same time as the SBE III) both SBE III either jammed up or quit cycling almost every day and both of those guys took good care of their guns. Both Berretas never had a single shell not eject, not cycle, etc throughout the week. I see waaay more problems with the SBE III than I do with the berretas.

With My one experience with a dove shoot outfit in Argentina, I was told they only use beretta shotguns because they significantly outlast every other brand.

Browning A5 or Maxus 2

The browning Maxus often gets over looked. Mine has been great- eats everything and very soft recoil.
My duratouch coating did go to shite once, but browning made it right within a month. They replace them now without the coating.
If I duck hunted in shite elements a ton, I’d buy a beretta hands down
