Finished. Definitely a step down from WW but OK. Rare that I would say this but I’m glad I didn’t pay for tickets to see it.

“Wishing” being the bad guy without a more fleshed out villain just left it a bit lacking. Still a bit of charm to Diana and Steve but very meh, even among DC movies.

I enjoyed it. Not as good as the first one, but I'm pleased with it. I agree with others who said it needed an actual villain. Was a little odd.

Was planning on seeing this at the theater mainly just to go out and see a big blockbuster movie at the theater again. Doesn't sound like its even worth that.

Saw it in the theater like movies should be seen and really enjoyed it. It wasn’t perfect but it was a fun, action packed, super hero film. Better than 90% of the current crop of DC films. I can see if I was sitting on my couch, surfing TD at the time, where I might have been taken out of the story or not cared as much.

So, the guy throws the works into chaos, but he takes back his wish and there are no consequences. Also, why is his son Asian? How, did Kristen Wiig get an extra wish?

Did you want Wonder Woman to kill him?

In his own words, the person granting wishes was "feeling generous."

To me, the most unbelievable part of the movie was Diana and the guy Steve took over saying "Happy Holidays." Hardly anyone used that term in the 80s. Was out of place for the time period.

That would have been out of place. However, it seems his punishment for bringing the world to the brink of nuclear annihilation was admitting to his kid that he was a loser.

I'm just not sure anyone could have proven he was to blame. He didn't actually physically do anything.

Did people forget how terrible the villains were in the first one? It’s like people gave them a pass because Gal was so good and pretty. Honestly, this one was just as bad for the same reasons. Bad villain(s). Campy story/dialogue. Terrible CGI. Overlong for no reason.

I didn’t like it. It felt way more comic book like and not in a good way. Action was good I guess but not special. Villain was soft. Renouncing wishes was a lame payoff.

Dianna was not as likable. In WW1 she was naive and vulnerable and learned to “let go” and love made her stronger.

She starts this movie as pessimistic and cold and antisocial. Almost bitchy. She has to sacrifice her love to get her strength back then after beating the cheetah uses the whip to get every single person who made a wish to renounce it?

ETA: Even in BvS she was sultry and seductive and confident without being abrasive. This was a different character.

I don’t know man. I’m just not feeling this one.

In the comics she does. She snaps his neck. Then she arranges for Batman to have his memory of it erased.

I finished it and I agree, it’s a terrible movie. Sit through almost two hours of boredom for a totally underwhelming conclusion. Wigg wanted to be Sabretooth and Mando wanted to be insane, but love prevails? Oh, and WW learns to fly, does her Superman pose, and love. We should all hold hands, because love. This movie is crap.

Way too long, but tolerable to pass an afternoon not talking to family.

I despise almost all the superhero movies. Good premises, but usually executed horribly. Which ones are considered the best among those who are fans?

I really, really liked the first one, so I had very high hopes. This was so disappointing to me in so many ways. The villains were trash, the dialogue was horrible, and everything was just so cheesy.

Oh well. At least I got to stare at Gal Gadot for 2 hours.

They tried to do the whole "Not another teen movie" thing with Wiig, where she is supposed to be totally ugly because she wears glasses and dorky clothes. While she isn't hot, she is a decent looking lady. Also, everybody treating her like crap was just over the top. If a troll looking girl drops all her stuff, I'd still stop to help her out. Her boss didn't remember hiring her a couple of days ago?
