Does USC get a big bump in rankings this week? Should they get in over OSU if they win the PAC 12 CG?

The only people hyping USC for the playoffs are Bama fans that are terrified of OSU

They need

Alabama wins
ND wins
Tennessee wins
Oklahoma wins
Reece Davises win
Louisiana wins
Tulsa wins

And that still may not be enough.

In other words....

Neither should get in. They will have played only six games max. Other teams will have played a minimum eight games, some 10-11 games.

They will jump USC from like 15 to 8 this week, just so they can set up their jump over Texas A&M next week if Ohio State happens to lose.

What would be their argument?

OSU would have 2 quality wins, and USC would have 1 quality win. And I’m being generous with USC’s 1.

No offense, but I think this is a silly question ... Ohio State is a better team, and has faced a tougher schedule, and performed better against their schedule, than USC.
