Smoked 6 pounds of pork belly on mine a few weeks ago. I used the snake method and the bacon was great!

Sorry bro. The BGE is the greatest cooking implement of all time. It is life altering and infinitely better than a Weber.

Indeed. There's no debate.

The amount of attachments available for this grilling machine are also unmatched.

I'm expecting the Aura Kettle Zone for Christmas. I will use it as soon as possible and report back how it is.

I also want one of the griddles that fits the full size of the kettle. Those look nice.

you can't molest a kettle, at least I don't think you can.

There are better ones for specific tasks for sure. However, if you know what you are doing, you can go toe to toe with any of those. You truly can cook anything on it with quality.

Old Smokey is the best grill ever made. Even built at chair height so I don't have to get up to check on my meat.

I love mine.

I also like the monolith ceramic for smoking the meats.

I recently bought a CharGriller Flavor Pro™ Multi-Fuel and it is awesome. Use straight propane or lump charcoal, wood chips or chunks. Solid drum design. Very awesome.

I bought one almost 5 years ago with the intention of buying an egg when I was better off financially. Well I’ve been “better off financially” for 4 1/2 years now and I’m still rocking the Weber. I just see no reason whatsoever to pay that much money for an egg when the Weber does everything I want it to do. When this one wears out I’ll buy another just like it.

The older I get the less I feel like dumping and dealing with the charcoal. It burns for hours. You only use it to cook for 20 minutes or so. It’s just a pain and wasteful.

I’m moving over to propane and propane accessories, myself.

The only thing I cook is burgers, steaks and sausage. If you’re cooking any of that longer than 5 or 10 minutes each, you’re doing it wrong.

I smoke ribs, brisket, etc.

I smoke those on a Weber kettle. You can easily hit low 200 degrees for as long as you want on one

Same. My first gas grill was when I stopped using charcoal forever.

If you keep your gas grill dirty enough it still cooks with plenty of flavor!

best economical grill out there

but if you want something that easily holds a low temperature for hours without much thought ceramic kamado types are the way to go
