You can check any former coach who was let go under any scandal off your list if the Title IX stuff gets Orgeron fired. You can bet your arse the next guy we hire will be as clean as possible even if it’s a bad hire.

Will likely finish 2-7 at a conference championship team from last year

That’s just the guy we need.

How did Orgeron - specifically Orgeron and not LSU in general - allegedly violate Title IX?

It’s called “falling on your sword” and it’s exactly what Freeze did at Ole Miss.

I take any coach who can have top 3 recruiting classes every year over the best coach with average recruiting classes.

I would not take Kirby Smart.

Is Jimbo Fischers a elite head coach?

is he Bear Bryant? No

is he a really good fit for LSU in terms of fit, recruiting, etc? He has been ever since he proved he could recruit kids like Jameis Winston to win a Natty

He is a raging alcoholic who has done extremely poor in his stints as a head coach.

What? The sanctions are coming in early next year from the NCAA. Aranda knew that yet still went

Sark as Washington's head coach:

34-29 overall 24-21 conference

Sark ended up resigning...

Sark as USC's head coach:

12-6 overall 7-5 conference

Sark was fired mid season after showing up to practice intoxicated and assistant coaches and players reported smelling alcohol on his breath during games...

Yep, that's just who we need...

This fan base is beyond moronic

Sark didn’t “resign” at Washington...he got his dream job at USC

Sark took over a winless Washington program, and while he never turned it into an elite program, he definitely improved it significantly from what he took over.

I’m not necessarily advocating for Sarkisian, but it’s really not accurate to paint Sarkisian’s tenure at Washington as bad, because it wasn’t...It got him the USC job. He got Washington off the mat and turned it into a competitive program, albeit not a championship-level program.

I like PJ Fleck, at Minnesota, I think that’s his name. Reminds me of another Saban like coach. Been pretty good everywhere he has been.
