Learn Finnish or Welsh?

These are 2 countries where the vast majority of people speak English

Finnish is an actual language that people use. Welsh is just for hobbyists and Welshmen with a political axe to grind.

I'd learn the language of my local Native American tribe, or Cajun French first.

Neither are practical uses of your time for day-to-day speech. However, it could prove useful in a historical sense later on down the road when there are even fewer native speakers.
