I know we are terrible. This might be the worst defensive team in the history of our school. Also, I am not saying the refs almost cost us the game. But I have to say that some of the spots the refs continually gave us were just incredibly bad. It happened numerous times. Literally walking backwards a yard or two on a couple of em. Seemed like the replay guys were at least trying to be impartial but the line judge was a total joke Saturday. I know I need to let it go but it was obvious to me.

There's not a single fan base that likes refs. It's not bias, they're just imperfect by nature.

I agree...not a conspiracy guy but some of the spots were so bad I re-wound to be sure I was really seeing it. Some spots were as much as 2 yards back.
I think we got the worse refs and announcers available

Auburn should like their home refs.

New defensive coach, team depleted of experienced players, and COVID. Next year will be minus 4 signees.

Alabama loves the refs. They have stolen many games over the years.

I thought I was crazy. I saw the same. Felt like I was watching the election. Not only that, the 2 holding calls were BS and kept Arkansas in the game.

Yes, but SEC refs have been unbelievably bad for decades. I have seen no improvement in this area, and the conference doesn't seem to care.

My son and I said the same thing. Our runner would dive ahead to the 34 and it was marked at the 32 or 33. And yes, I looked for a knee being down, and that wasn't the case.

I do believe the refs do a credible job in general, but that one linesman was WAY OFF on a few of his spots.

For those sec ref conspiracy guys, see the Thad Moss td at bama last year. If the fix was in for bama, it would have been beyond easy to call that incomplete to screw LSU.

I know there’s a huge “muh refs bad” meme on this board, but there was some particularly bad officiating going on Saturday. And I say that as someone who usually thinks those kinds of excuses are mostly bullshite

The announcers were also equally shitty and SEC network should be ashamed.

SECN has been terrible all year. I can’t remember if it was Vandy or Mizzou (or both) that they didn’t even have the play clock on the screen. Camera work has been awful.

Outside of the announcers, that was actually probably the best production quality we’ve seen from an SECN game this year. Which says a lot...

What the hell happened? You would think that ESPN would be all-in on SECN right now with the CBS deal expiring.

There were bad spots, but this isn't close to true. There was not one spot that was off by more than a yard. Two feet is a lot to miss a spot by, though, and they did have a couple that looked to be off by at least two feet.
