Started feeling bad a few days ago with all the symptoms including no taste, terrible cough etc etc .
Every CVS is booked up, walk in clinic says they can get me in tomorrow at 1 pm but my results will bot be back until next Friday. No rapid test.
Guess I'm staying home

If you dont have symptoms, you’re not spreading the virus. This idea of asymptomatic spread is a complete farce. Mild symptoms are still symptoms.
There is zero evidence that asymptomatic people are driving this outbreak. In fact, just this week, Nature posted research that stated as much but of course the media is spending zero time on it. Asymptomatic spread is the entire driver behind the lockdowns. We’ve thrown out a 100 years of research for covid.

Had a pretty bad cough and chest cold similar to the flu. Just being careful to not spread to my parents who are older. I home office so not going to be around anyone until Thanksgiving

Yep. All it does is gum up the works with needless tests. All the tests will get sent to labs. Those labs will be overwhelmed and they will fall behind. Reporting results will be delayed. That will lead to the Health Departments being delayed which will lead to test dumps on random arse days. Those test dumps will make the situation seem even worse than what it is. The politicians will use those stats to restrict us even more.

I mean that's not true, it'll tell you if you have the virus before traveling. If you get checked 4 days before you leave you know you don't have the virus 4 days before you leave which has value. Probably a shitty move to fly if you have the rona.

Yeah my grandma is in the hospital with it now. Of course, she’s 94 and already on deaths door. So now my poor mom has to quarantine herself over thanksgiving bc she was around my grandma. Just a shitty deal.
