Already have Th & F off. M-W is really slow around the office, so it lets me get a jump start on end of year crap. Which then lets me take off of work from 12/24 - 1/04 (or whatever the first Monday is after NY).

I get W-F off this year. Decided to work M-T so my team could take off the entire week.

I may also feel guilty because I have the month of December off.

I've been with my company for 13 years so I have a lot of PTO.

This year the Clovids kept me from taking a real vacation so I have a shite ton of PTO to burn or I lose it. We can only carry over 2 weeks.

I'm off this Friday through the Monday after Thanksgiving. I also have taken every Friday through the end of the year, and the week of Christmas and New Years.

I'll still check e-mail and answer anything important, but I'll also be out on my kayak fishing, working in my shop on projects I have planned, and anything else that sounds fun.

Usually none. We get Thursday and Friday off, so The rest of the company does though, so that week is slow anyway. I've been working from home for years, so when I have a slow week it's pretty close to being off. I didn't have days off to take in other ways, like right now I won't work on other Friday the rest of the year.

I usually go in Monday until lunch to make sure everything is on point. If it is I'll be back next week. If not, I'll stay until things get straightened out.

I've worked Thanksgiving morning a couple times over the past ten years at my current place but I'm usually not here after Monday afternoon.

In the past few years, the entire week (3 days vacation + 2 office closure days). This year, I'm going to work the three days but it should be fairly slow.

Taking off the whole week this year, but we’re traveling. Normally, I take off half of Wed., Thurs., and Fri.

It’s a great week. Traditionally the office volume upticks the three days prior, and then I take the Thursday, Friday off from the office. A long weekend with good food and family is welcomed.
Through college, I would usually volunteer to work Thanksgiving, and in residency i covered it two or three straight years.

It’s usually my least favorite time to cover the hospital. Services are consistently the lowest they will be, because it’s a set long weekend. Friday Christmas can be similarly bad, but it doesn’t happen every year.

Off Thursday and Friday and I usually take the Wednesday off. I’m working Wednesday this year before I took this whole week off and will have a lot to catch up on in 3 days next week.

I usually go hunting with my FiL every year in Arkansas, but this year we’re not heading up there because the MiL has been having health issues and is high risk if she catches the China Virus.

This year we’re gonna make the relatively quicker trip to my parent’s on Thursday and come back that afternoon. Beyond that I plan on enjoying being off and drinking myself silly. We’re probably gonna have the Friendsgiving (I hate that word) thing at my house on Friday.

Will probably take off just Wednesday to go play golf and then hit the bar with all my buddies who are going to be back in town. We are remote so its not like I need to waste PTO for the entire week, not much will be getting done anyways

I haven’t really been back to work since March, so all week. Still have a job thankfully. Hope everyone has a great turkey day.

Thanksgiving week is a block week so no one can take off. We’re pretty heavy on Monday, dead on Tuesday and Wednesday and off Thursday and Friday.

We get Thursday off. Some people come in Friday to do the essentials, and then shut it down.
