To expect LSU admin (not LSU PD) to deal with these issues is beyond stupid. They don't have the capabilities to do so.

100% false. Title IX requires that they do, and it has for almost 50 years.

Reading the article, it seems like Segar was the only person who took the situation seriously.

I don't get the girl not pressing charges. If it happened and it was bad enough to go to the media years later then she should have pressed charges. It's tough I get it.

If the university acts on some of these incidents seems they are viewed as convicting without due process. If they don't act they are ignoring victims and crimes.

I wonder if the team will have a march to stand against these players that did these acts....

school would not confirm or deny if it disciplined two other players accused of dating violence – defensive linemen Davon Godchaux and Ray Parker – citing privacy interests. Both were arrested. Godchaux was not charged in court; Parker’s case is pending, the DA's office said

Frankly I don’t care what happens to O/the previous players with this if they are guilty they should deal with the consequences.

However.

This is a COMPLETE piece of shite move to pull on davon godchaux and the USA Today should be embarrassed to publish this.

Godchaux had his charges dropped and they still want to drag his name through the mud? Journalism is a lost profession.

It sounds like the writers of the article believe accused is the same things as convicted.

No, no it doesn't.

Why would they feel the need to ask a school if someone was punished when they admit the player had their charges dropped?

Do you routinely have your employer punish you for things you didn’t do?

Such a lame retort. Everyone in Hollywood and major media hung around with that creep

Difference is, when Trump found out Epstein approached one of his towel girls, he kicked Epstein out of his resort and never talked to him again

Compare that to bill clinton, Dershowitz, etc, who actually flew on the plane and went to the island

The court documents are publically available. They point blank ask the girls if Trump was ever involved and the girls flatly say no

Sounds like guys that were convicted got punished. You can’t punish people for every allegation.

That summer, a female student told two senior athletics administrators that Guice took a partially nude photograph of her without her permission, and then shared it with a team equipment manager and possibly others.

Is this the only new accusation about Guice?

I've pieced together a timeline based on USA Today article and other articles about Drake Davis' situation.

Re: Von Rosenberg's claim about O have zero tolerance, it's hard to believe that given this timeline. Especially focusing on April 2018, Verge Ausbery had a confession and Mickey Joseph's ongoing involvement of keeping tabs on Davis.

Feb 3 2016: Drake Davis commits to LSU.

June 2016: Drake Davis enrolls at LSU

Sept 25 2016: Les Miles fired, Coach O named interim.

Nov 26 2016: Ed Orgeron is hired at LSU.

May 2017: Victim's father spoke with Tennis Coach Sell on two other occasions that summer about alleged abuse.

April 14 2018: Davis admits in a text message to Verge Ausberry that he punched the victim. The conversation was not revealed until Aug during a search warrant. Message was deleted from Ausberry's phone despite LSU protocol of keeping for 5 years.

April 25 2018: Victim is punched by Davis, also tells LSU athletic trainer Donovan White about May 2017 episode. Segar files Title IX report. This is the first time the victim has officially filed reports on incidents.

June 18 2018: Police are called after Davis assaults victim again. No arrest made, victim covers for Davis.

July 11 2018: LSU judicial affairs calls Davis in for interview. Mickey Joseph tags along for interview. 3 of the victim's friends tells LSU judicial affairs that victim is covering for Davis.

LSU did not interview Davis for 2 months. Allegedly assaulted victim on 3 more occasions between then.

Aug 4 2018: Drake Davis participates in LSU's first practice, despite being banned from the facilities all summer.

Aug 17 2018: Drake Davis arrested for beating g/f over 4 separate incidents, dating back as early as May 2017.

Interesting note to this one:

An arrest warrant was issued Thursday after a police were tipped off by an "LSU official" who learned of the allegations.

We know from USA today article that this was Segar.

Aug 18 2018: Davis is suspended indefinitely by football & university

Sept 16 2018: Drake Davis arrested again child pornography

Sept 18 2018: Davis is removed from the LSU football team.
