no....at least not new. The new Titans require at least a 50 K committment
Do they discount the new Titan at all?
SL 4x4 model is closer to 60. It seems higher than all other competitors including even Toyota and GMC.

The Colorado was one of the newer, more modern alternatives just a year or two ago. Now it looks ancient though the ZR2 diesel is still an absolute beast and probably the best off roader. They updated the exterior styling slightly this year with a whole new redesign coming for 2023. Rumor is that the V6 will be gone in a couple of year, replaced by a 4 cylinder turbo or the diesel. Based on what I am seeing, it’s going to be hard to top Nissan’s styling. I really like the looks assuming I can avoid that black color for the grill.
Yeah, I've been leaning towards a Colorado. I've built and priced one a few times on Chevy's site. I'll probably pick one up next year before the V6 goes away. I don't need a truck with a bunch of bells and whistles to it. I also don't need a crew cab, extended cab with the long bed is preferred.

Who would buy this? I mean if your a 5ft girl that wanted a truck I could somewhat understand... and I’m a mechanic at a GM dealership and I’m here to tell you the Colorado is also a giant piece of crap no matter what class of it you get (V4, V6, or diesel) they are all JUNK... and here is a tip for anyone driving one now, if you Colorado suddenly starts to pull left or right, just disconnect the battery for about 2mins then hook it back up, and the pull will stop.. do yourself a favor and buy you a big boy truck like a silverado and stop wearing diapers

Nissan has been trash for 2 decades with a couple rare exceptions.
I wouldn't buy anything they make.

so after 20 years, they finally changed the body style. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

....I wish they would have just updated the interior and headlights.
Body style was timeless.
Titan swapped front and rear suspension. 35s. Flairs. Long travel.

Astoundingly capable and streetable platform.

That's the Navara, which is made for the European market. The Frontier will look a little different, especially the front end.
The truck in the middle is what they believe the U.S. Frontier will look like.

It looks good but I'd still choose a Tacoma over that. I have a lot of confidence in Toyota products.

Any more copying of the GOAT Tacoma, and you might as well put a toyota badge on it

I would wait until the kinks are worked out of the truck.

Mine isn't the frontier.
I have more travel and a little less width. (And unfortunately spent way more than a simple titan swap)
And a few trail dents.... That all happened on undrivable paved roads out west.

I also switched from 35×12.5s to 33s11s because of the tons of miles I put on it.
Anyone who says the Tacoma is better has not owned both. Toyota's 4.0l and new canry motor is a turd. The vg40 nissan made is simply astounding.
The Toyota 3.4 was a better design, gutless or not.

That thing will outlast 3 fords

I have an 06 nismo Frontier that I got for cheap off of a friend earlier this year. The Titan swap interests me, but I may just leave it stock for now. Still chasing down some wear and tear issues and clearing engine codes on it. Other than that, the truck drives well (except for the shite gas mileage and horrible turning radius.)
I swear, the best mod I've bought for this truck is the hood struts.

i like it. nissan gets a bad wrap. i hated them. had a bad experience with an altima years ago. wife and i bought a murano and its been a solid vehicle. no issues and a lot of bang for your buck.

If it has any part of Renault in it, then hell no.
