Would you drive this? 2022 Nissan Frontier

After 16 years, Nissan is finally redesigning the Frontier.
The Frontier is being unveiled overseas first (known as the Navara) to compete with the overseas version of the Chevrolet Colorado, Ford Ranger, and Toyota Hilux. It will be branded as the Frontier in the US.
It's likely to have the same 3.8L V6 as the current model, paired to a 9 speed automatic. The interior looks very good.
I like it better than the other mid sized trucks to be honest. I know that 2023 will being a redesigned Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, and Toyota Tacoma - and those are likely going to bring more powerful, more efficient engines and great designs.
There are also rumors that the first ICE vehicle produced out of the new Honda/General Motors partnership will be a body on frame pickup truck - likely the next generation Ridgeline. So the Ridgeline may not be based on a minivan for much longer.

I bought a 2013 model brand new. Drove it for 140k miles and never had one single issue on it. The Frontiers are solid, baw!

Sure but you can probably get a Titan for the same price

My old frontier had worse turning than an 18 wheeler.
Think it was an '07. Wonder if they ever fixed that.

We have the 2WD and 4WD at work and honestly they are solid and drive well. I had the 4WD and have took it through some decent mud scouting power lines in storms. Drove it to/through hurricanes Harvey and Michael and it was a comfortable ride the whole way.

Not for long. The Titan is being canceled soon.
No one buys the full sized Nissan pickup truck.

I did the same in a 2007 Silverado. Came away very impressed at how long pickup trucks last when maintained.
I would buy the Frontier if I needed a reliable mid sized pickup that can go off pavement. I'd have to forget about decent gas mileage though.

even the front of their trucks look Asian.

I’ve had a 06 and 09 frontiers. They were beast of a truck and I definitely towed way more than the 6,500lb it’s rated for but those trucks had the absolute worst turning radius of any vehicle I’ve ever driven.

I have 226k miles on the 4.0l platform.
It is redlined multiple times a day.
10k mile oil changes, 20k mile oil filter changes. 20k mile drain and fill on trans.
An absolutely bulletproof design.
Having said that, 15.5 mpg when lifted with winch bumper and E rated 33s.
ETA: anyone buying one, but a 2011 or newer. Older models had a bad radiator design that would leak coolant into the transmission cooler and ultimately kill the transmission.
If you swapped to a denso unit before initial failure, it was a non issue. But unfortunately most people did not.

No.
It’s a phaggoty mixture of a Honda Ridgeline and a Chevy Colorado

They should have kept the best name ever. You might remember they named it after me.
