Bo P being a complete failure by not being able to adapt to our personnel at all is a BIG red flag

you can run a 4-3 with big, interior guys. now you probably don't want 2 like the 2000 Ravens had, but a lot of teams still run a 1 and 2 gap interior DL in their base scheme

if Bo P needs perfect personnel for his D, our D will suck for another 2 years min

Aranda adapted to inherited personnel in 2016 and we had an elite defense.

Granted he had more experience, but still, you expect a DC making $2 million a year to be able to utilize our best current players.

oh yeah he's a vastly superior DC to Pelini

there is no question at this point

the regression of Ika, clark, stevens, and stigley is ALARMING

we had an excuse against MSU b/c of attrition but that's over now. we've had a handful of games so attrition isn't an excuse now, at least for teams with good coaches

Considering Bo ain't gonna be the one recruiting them, we may never arrive at the point where we have the perfect personnel for his system.

Honest question, are you supposed to change the defense for him?

That would be like changing the offense to suit Tory Carter because he wasn’t happy

This take is even more ridiculous when you consider that we had Shelvin on the roster as well when the defense was being installed

You always adapt scheme to fit personnel

I never said he couldn’t play in a 4-3. There is just less use

And he can’t play many more snaps anyway. He’s not in shape to.

All that being said, I keep hearing how highly rated he is. So something seems to be working

Excuse me, but top players? Who?

Ika was top graded interior defensive lineman on team this season so far per PFF, sorry this fact continues to escape you. He was VERY good and got a ton of snaps as a true freshman last year.

Pretending like he is no loss is absolutely stupid.

Coaches did absolute stupidity to not play him much these last 2 games. He didn't get a single snap against Mizzou on defense, then 13 against USC....no wonder he's on his way out. Also no wonder people like you are clueless thinking this is no real loss.

We got gashed repeatedly on the ground in Mizzou game. Guess who didnt play in that game....really interesting. Mizzou RBs - 23 carries, 158 yards, 6.9 yards per carry

Would stop spreading these lies and garbgae. He is significantly more in shape than last season - a year which he played at least 23 snaps in 5 different games as a true freshman.

You don’t let a player dictate your defense and don’t give playing time to a player because they threaten to leave. You tell him he can be successful in the current scheme if he wants to work...or next man up.

Yea that is the fricking problem. We recruited for 3-4 and now he hires a coach who wants to run a 4-3 and ignore the talent on the roster. You fit the scheme to the players not the players to the scheme. Now you start over and recruit to the 4-3 and watch this defense give up yards to a Pop Warner team.

each day Bo is employed is cost LSU money and recruits!

Its clear the players have no faith in him and dont respect him.

If O doesn't make a move soon, the heat may be turned up on O's seat next year. Instead of chasing bimbo's I'd rather he spend time fixing the D instead of taking shots at Aranda.
