I’m not gonna put the person who said this to me today because I don’t want it to affect his relationship to the program, but I was told that Ika was CUT this morning. I trust the source who told me this — the person has very strong and direct ties in the athletic department. I literally couldn’t care less if you don’t believe me; just passing along this nugget of info.

Whether he was cut because he decided to enter the transfer portal, I don’t know (i.e. breaking up with your gf because you know she’s about to break up with you, just to beat her to it).

This bothers me. What is going on behind the scenes...?

This is just a thought. Do you think someone could garner more playing time if he would only mention to a coach that He's thinking about the transfer portal without actually doing it. Coaches play mind games so why not players. Could this backfire on the player or not. Just a thought.

I think that scenario could, of course. And I’m not defending him for quitting on his team, if he did. In fact, I think that whatever his part in the situation, Ika is making a mistake. But that doesn’t mean that his reasons for quitting are wrong, if he’s leaving by choice, including being upset about PT. I think he’s a rare player, super explosive for his size, a diamond in the rough (even though he was a 4 star), that could do some really good things before leaving LSU. And I’m disappointed for him because I also don’t think many players who leave do particularly well at their next stop.

talk about a tremendous drop off going from someone like Aranda to Bo.

Players have no respect for Tepperini. Players loved Aranda sad to see the coaching staff still taking shots at Aranda. Thats not sitting well.

Is this speculation because of Aranda or do you have reason today to believe this?
