I hated the day when we did this in P.E. because it meant I couldn’t play football or kickball that day.

I don't even know what this is so I'd probably be fricked on this event

No chance of getting the mile without a couple months to get in shape. I haven't run like that in forever

I'd need to start running again to get the mile time (did a mile around 8:30 a few weeks ago, but don't think I'd be able to do much better without training at the moment), but got the rest. Well, probably not the sit ups in a minute. May have to try that when I get home tonight.

We did this 6th-8th. As a girl, I had to do pull-ups. Got the award 7th and 8th. Couldn’t do a pull-up in 6th. This was almost 25 years ago though.

Basically, how far can you reach past your feet while in a v-shaped leg spread while parallel to the ground.

Been a while since I last timed a solo mile, but I did hit a 6:50 mile while running a 5k last night. I can manage about 6-8 chin ups, but pulls ups are near impossible for me. I can probably grind out two.

When I did PFT's in late 90's-early 2000's we didn't do pullups. I don't even know what you call it, but you had to do an overhand pullup to get your chin above the bar and then you were timed on how long you could keep your chin above the bar.

Hefty girl in my class got her chin above the bar and about 5 seconds later her arm snapped

Can you pass this now?? Not when in high school, now?
The scales adjust for age and would likely start to lower somewhere around the late 30's if it continued beyond 17. Assuming it would be close to the army physical standards I might could pass as a 41 year old.

What is so frustrating is that right when I started getting serious about fitness/strength/health I was hit with a disease that severely limits my ability to even walk too long without intense pain. Starting meds next month and if they work I have already promised myself to get back at it and set myself up to be strong again.

They oughta make our septuagenarian presidential candidates take that test--it'd kill both of them. Biden looks like a strong wind would blow him over, and the MastaDon hasn't seen his feet in like a decade.

he is 75, I would imagine most (95%+) in their 70s couldnt come close, which is all together another subject and sad itself.

God damn it, stfu and quit making this about politics. Nobody cares about what 75 year olds can do.

What can you boys 50 and below do? Can you pass the standards for a 12 year old?

I would bet 85% of males on here can do more than 3 true dead hang pullups and 75% plus could not do that many situps in a min.
