OP was spot on. I have a daughter there. Today’s program for freshman and sophomores has been cancelled after the blow back from junior/senior parents.

This might actually be the way to go. A two-year degree is fast becoming one that can pay the bills, whereas a four-year degree leaves many students with tens of thousands of dollars of debt and no job to work it off.

If SJA wants to teach its students to reject racism why don't they use the Catholic Church's teachings as a starting point?

I've received so much good from being part of the SJA community, and it breaks my heart that they're looking to the wordily malcontent SJWs and feminazi sky-screamers to teach the students about "love of neighbor"
rather than drawing from Christian faith and holding as an example those who actually DID make a difference. What's next, peaceful protesting?

I think BRPD should limit patrols in the area to grant their wishes to defund the police.
They can move them to areas of BR that would appreciate more coverage.
They should also respond slower to calls for service at or around the school to not put our friendly opportunistic citizens in harms way.
Nice cars
Kids with money, high end cell phones, and computers.
Not far from the hood.
We all know criminals will not go where there is the highest reward and least amount of risk.
I think it will work out well as the administration is for defunding the police.
They should know what they are doing as they are educated in everything but reality.

This was not stated or a point made at the presentation. It was at best an off-handed comment made by one presenter in the middle of a word salad discussion.
Mainly discussion of "white privilege" and "systemic racism," but it was completely disorganized and was a terrible presentation and waste of time.
