I have a very good friend who is a Southern Baptist pastor in Los Angeles. He said that at least half the pastors in their association are woke, almost all of them young. He said a lot of the older pastors have stopped participating in associational activities because of it.

On few other hand, check out the "Just Thinking" podcast (apple/Spotify).
Two black pastors who are extremely sharp, and give biblical counter-points to each new "woke-ism."
They even spent a whole show talking through how absurd the Smithsonian's infographic on Whiteness was.

It's one of the most popular evangelical podcasts, I believe.
Well worth a listen!

They are teaching it in seminaries. Here’s the problem conservatives/republicans did by ostracizing entering teaching/academics: the far leftists have eroded away at every institution and profession by indoctrinating everyone for an hour to 90 minute lecture at a time.

I see some of these woke Christians who have moved to NYC or ITP ATL. I don't understand how they reconcile their faith with the current Left.

They seem to focus on being against Trump's "intolerance" and "hatred towards others" rather than actually identifying with Leftist principles.

Some of them are quite smart textbook-wise. I don't understand how they reconcile their faith with the values of the Left, though.

I'm not religious but if you vote for the party of abortion, including Governor Blackface who literally wants to murder babies after they have been born, then you have just as much of a chance at hell as I or atheists do

Because what God really cares about is what someone looks like on the outside, not the inside.

These people should be forced to put quotation marks around the word church on their signs.

I can personally attest to this happening in the Heartland.

In mid-to-late September I visited the local Congregational Church to see why it is dying. To get a better understanding of its ridiculous demise.

Upon entering this historic church, I noticed whom I assumed to be the Pastor off to my left. She just stared at me. To break the awkwardness... I made my way to the Guest Book and entered my info. Briefly greeted her and then took a seat in the 3rd row to the Right.

There were 6 more in attendance that Sunday for a :45 minute Worship Service, they all sat on the Left. It could easily seat 150 and this church founded this small town.

During this service I witnessed a christian-themed Black Lives Matter music video. Noticed the Pastor wearing lime-green Crocs under her pathetic excuse of a dress.

She noticed my scorn on the occasions our eyes met. That mostly occurred when she spoke of Jesus... probably because I look like the traditional image of Him (dressed like Jeff Foxworthy).

The following Sunday the Crocs were gone, dress was better, BLM references were removed. I'm pretty sure she knows why I'm there. The United Church of Christ Leftism isn't sitting to well in these rural parts.

Red wave on Election Day would help save this Nation... Red wave on Sundays could save our Culture...

Get busy.

Got a text from her today saying no services until Nov. 1st, replied that I'll be there.

Good. I’ll gladly trade legal immigrants for evangelicals.

I've heard that from other sources as well.

That movement hasn’t greatly increased since 2016. They may be making more noise on social media. That’s about it.

And there’s probably some evangelicals who didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 who are now.

ftr, i know of nothing, not one verse, that authorizes racialism, the (incessant) framing of issues in terms of race. i wish i could tell every liberal "christian" that there should be no racial talk. god loves all people equally. the atonement of christ is for all. racialism leads to the privileging or exclusion of someone based on their skin color, often under the pretense of "justice" and equality. if a person were trying to protect all races, then there would be absolutely no need to mention anyone's race.

Im looking at the story more at how "wokeness" is affecting the Evangelical church. That's the part that interests me. I have no idea how this will play out in terms of votes. Fwiw I don't think I know anyone personally who voted for Trump in 2016 who isn't voting for him in 2020.

And just think, the PCA is considered the "conservative" breakaway sect of the Presbyterian Chruch. I live smack dab in the middle of the heart of Presbyterianism here in Virginia and the damn near commie PC USA is by far and away more leftist than PCA. They generally, figuratively, spit on the tomb of the greatest Presbyterian of them all, Stonewall Jackson. These days they are just the "low church" version of the "high church" Episcopalians.
That being said, I doubt very many people that go to these churches will change who they vote for this time anyway. This BS about Trump voters being turned off and not voting for him next month is just that. If he loses this election, it will be purely through voter fraud.

Got friends from high school that I thought were solid Christians are totally into this stuff. One posted the Phil Vischer video.

1) Trump is NOT a racist. He funded historically black colleges for 10 years. This is not what a racist would do.
2) Biden is a racist. He gave a eulogy for a past member of the triple K group.
3) Trump has worked with many members of the black community to try to improve their communities.
4) Biden is for allowing a child to be killed as it is being born, known as partial birth abortion. No Christian can vote for a politician like this. The instant they vote for such a politician they are denying Christ himself, and are no longer a Christian.
5) Biden/Harris support groups (BLM) that are for destroying the patriarchal family (no fathers in a family). These groups are trained by communists which is the enemy of America. These groups are for defunding the police.
6) Tell them if they vote for Biden they are no longer a Christian. The above explains it to them. The police defend innocent people from criminals. (very few cops are bad. One of Christs 12 apostles were bad. No group is perfect. Almost all members of the Triple K group were democrats.) A Christian will not support people who are for aborting a baby as it is being born, and Christians are FOR fathers being part of the family. Evil is against both of these.
Jesus said you are "For me or against me." Your vote for protecting these babies and for fathers as part of families, and for police protecting innocent people from criminals is for Christ. Your vote against these things is a vote against Crist.

A great deal of Christians are highly concerned these days with popularity and fear of what the world thinks of them should they take the 'wrong' stance.

For a country that "needs to talk about race", all I hear is people talking about race.

IDGAF about race. IDGAF about Jews/Muslims/Christians.

Just live and work and do your part not to be a POS human being to others and to the earth.

Why is this so hard?
