2 years for passing out cash in front of TV CAMERAS?

That’s a joke. That a-hole shouldn’t show his face on campus for 5 years minimum after that stunt.

He should never be allowed on campus or at campus events again.

Well they gave it all back apparently.

And it was only $2,000.

We don't need to alienate one of our most famous athletes. He's a big recruiting tool, like it or not.

So, you’re just pulling an arbitrary number out of your arse, too?

How much was to players who came back?

As far as I’m concerned the clock strikes 0 and you can give anyone who declared or maxed out eligibility as much cash as you want.

shite agents do it.

Kirklin got some but damn.

It's ridiculous that this is even an issue if we're being honest. But NCAA gonna NCAA.

I think LSU got it right. 5 years is kind of extreme. Seeing all the NFL talent on the sideline is a solid look for recruiting.

I'm not sure what LSU could've done differently about the OBJ situation. I understand the ban, but I can't fathom how anything else is warranted. How were they supposed to know he was going to do that?

The same people on here bashing Obj would be the same ones rushing to take a pic while peaking all fast and excited and begging for an autographsif you ran into him on the street.

Sure he messed up, it's called making a damn mistake.

You glorified him when he did well but are fast to cancel him out for this?!

Don't throw stones when ya live in a glass house.
