I kinda follow your thinking but I believe most people on here believe Bo is responsible for the poor play of those players.
I have stated on here that my opinion is that all of the middle field players that are starting are second tier or way underperforming.

I agree that the overall mindset of the players is the head coaches responsibility, but guys being completely lost is on the dc. That seems like the biggest issue

Pelini's 4 down linemen scheme with 4 heavyweights who have no speed and quickness against pass happy teams with mobile quarterbacks is the problem (no outside pressure coming in to cause disruption), along with linebackers who appear to be lost in no man's land, with no adjustments and no blitz scheme to speak of, is a very big problem... Pelini is trying to fit players into a scheme they are not used to and uncomfortable in... that's what I see!

Almost every team you play now will force some type of zone matchup...period. We were facing a team that required it to open the season, We gave up 623 yards in the air. And it aint getting better.

It's both. We have the talent to be much better but not to compete for the SEC. we lost 24 serious contributors and are relying on the historically bad 2018 class as juniors.
