The only thing worse than Tab is thinking I'm going to subscribe to the WSJ to read an article about the end of Tab

I drank Tabs years and years ago. It and Dr. Pepper were the two diet drinks I switched to when I gave up sugar drinks.

The original (good tasting) Tab was sweetened with Cyclamates sweeteners, which were (politically) outlawed in the USA (1970s?). However they still used the sweetener in Mexico. For several years after the change in Tab I was doing a lot of business in Mexico. One of the highlights of trips down there was Tab in glass bottles with cyclamate sweetener. They were really good.

For a while, Delta Airlines had Tab (canned) as a part of their stewardess carts and you could get Tabs on flights. It was nice to have a Tab and a bag of peanuts on a flight.

I thought Tab was the same as Coke Zero

My wife is suicidal because they have stopped producing Fresca, at least during Covid.

It's amazing Coke Life made it 7 years

Imagine being on that bullshite team at Coke for the better part of a decade

Not for Tab but I'm basically a 'tabaholic' for booze.

My uncle is a tabaholic. He is a straight edged man with no vices except Tab. This might push him over the edge and make him snap. He is hosting Thanksgiving this year. It should be interesting. I may need to post updates in the annual "how frickedup is your Tgiving" real time thread here.
