Are you fricking kidding me? There are over 400,000 on unemployment bc of his bullshite shutdowns and restrictions that NOT 1 other southern state has. A pathetic $222 a week after taxes. Over 410,000 households are on food stamps here.
Glad to see you helping point out the lies from Trump and Pence. They have repeatedly said the economy has bounced back. Thanks for your hard work.

Sounds like someone
Somewhere around 0.15% of the state's population currently has this strain of the cold. It has greater than 99% survival for the vast majority of the population. We should be fully open, no restrictions.
For political purposes only, the governor is abusing the power the legislature erred in giving the office.

Actually sounds like your vagina is hurt that you lost the election previously. He’s not facing a recall just like Trump was never going to be impeached. Enjoy 3 more years of JBE. I hope your vajayjay is ready.

I posted this in the other thread, but our legislators have had the power to stop JBE this entire time:
La. Rev. Stat. § 29:724. Powers of the governor
A. The governor is responsible for meeting the dangers to the state and people presented by emergencies or disasters, and in order to effectuate the provisions of this Chapter, the governor may issue executive orders, proclamations, and regulations and amend or rescind them. Executive orders, proclamations, and regulations so issued shall have the force and effect of law.
B. (1) A disaster or emergency, or both, shall be declared by executive order or proclamation of the governor if he finds that a disaster or emergency has occurred or the threat thereof is imminent. The state of disaster or emergency shall continue until the governor finds that the threat of danger has passed or the disaster or emergency has been dealt with to the extent that the emergency conditions no longer exist and terminates the state of disaster or emergency by executive order or proclamation, but no state of disaster or emergency may continue for longer than thirty days unless renewed by the governor.
(2) The legislature, by petition signed by a majority of the surviving members of either house, may terminate a state of disaster or emergency at any time. This petition terminating the state of emergency or disaster may establish a period during which no other declaration of emergency or disaster may be issued. Thereupon, the governor shall issue an executive order or proclamation ending the state of disaster or emergency.

Trump closed down the country first...he just changed his mind when he realized the election is at stake. If Trump wins again he will take a more aggressive approach to COVID, much like he did in the beginning. Both sides are wrong. The stances regarding COVID is highly based on their political bias.

We have opened up a lot in this state already.
Dancing is forbidden.
Live music indoors is still banned.
Bars can’t be open past 11:00pm
Libraries are still not fully open to the public.
Most fans aren’t allowed to attend sporting events.
Churches have greatly reduced capacity and require masks to enter.
Restaurants require people to play “the floor is lava” regarding masks.
F$&k the governor. F$&k the mayor. F$&k the Legislature. F$&k Congress. F$&k the President. The shut downs were instigated under false pretenses. We never should have been shut down to begin with. We must open up immediately. Anyone in a position of authority who stands against reversing this “mistake” must be replaced through any and all means afforded the law-abiding citizenry.

What is the status of the legislature efforts to repeal these ridiculous restrictions, which have no legal basis? My children attend Catholic school, which has the benefit (I thought) of not being affected unelected Louisiana bureaucrats but the school is now getting pressure from the Departments of Health and BESE to tighten restrictions on kids wearing masks in school, despite children being unaffected by the virus.
I want to let my principal know there are other like minded people out there when I tell her it concerns me as a parent she is so readily compliant with these bureaucrats.

Good to know you have both TDS and JDS. Best of

I won’t argue against this. I think our entire leadership has failed us from the president to the governors. They all lie and use numbers to push their political agenda. Just like the debate last night; they both lied and twisted facts to their liking .
