If you are angry with the Phase 3 extension, have you signed the recall petition?

I am just curious and if no why not?

Also, yes I have signed it because I want to hold him accountable for this.

I plan to sign it, but the signing events in my parish have been inconveniently timed and/or located. I’ll sign it eventually.

Anyone know what the official signature count is?

Is this where we are at as a state and country now? Dems mad Trump won and tried to get him out for nearly 3 years. Now we don’t like or agree with JBE so let’s just do the same thing. I don’t get my way so I go and destroy and set fire to stuff. Our country has gone soft. People throw fits like babies when they don’t get their way.

You think this is exclusively about COVID? If so, you're a dumb arse with your head in the sand... or just a straight up liberal. He has wrecked this state's economy by going after heavy industry and let loose his trial attorney buddies to sue everyone they get their hands on. The economy in the state is one of the worst in the US and is still losing jobs.

Get him the frick out.

Taking a legal and reasonable approach to hold some one accountable isn't a new concept for this country.

Recall petition is an absolute waste of time. If people have time to do this they have time to find a job....they exist. Trump and Pence tell us they do. We are entering into a time where every time people don’t get their way their gonna throw a fit.

Using a built-in function of the legislative system to hold a politician accountable is now called "throwing a fit"?

Interesting.

Sounds like the typical uneducated and uninformed backwoods republican. Do you know what Jindal did to this state? He bent it over backwards and raped it. There’s more than just heavy industry jobs in this state. Bless your little country heart.

How do we sign? Everything I see makes you sign into a Facebook group. Not even sure what that means since I don’t have a FB account. When is the next chance to physically sign in EBR?

This statement makes no sense at all.

Are you fricking kidding me? There are over 400,000 on unemployment bc of his bullshite shutdowns and restrictions that NOT 1 other southern state has. A pathetic $222 a week after taxes. Over 410,000 households are on food stamps here.

Texas is allowing bars to open up at 50% capacity next week and are allowing festivals. Florida is allowing 100% capacity at football games. Mississippi, Georgia, Florida have no mask or phase bullshite. It’s been almost 7 months and people are going bankrupt and small businesses closing by the day.

Yes it is. We have opened up a lot in this state already. The desire to recall JBE is mostly rooted in political bias and a desire to give the finger to the left. It lacks any credible reasoning. You can disagree. It really won’t matter. There’s 0% chance he is recalled. So you can go back to your double wide and maga life.

And there will be over 400k deaths by the end of the year if open things up. There are plenty of jobs now.... if you want to find them.

If you are in Baton Rouge you can go to Calloway's gym during operating hours and sign the petition at the front desk.

Nope, it's rooted in a desire to peacefully live my life without being told when where and how I can do it.

I don't have a Facebook either, the person collecting them for my parish just happened to be at my house one day so I signed it then. I will get my wife to forward this thread to them so they can see that there appear to be issues with their reachability.

It's says quite a bit about your own views that I ask a question about signing a recall petition, and your response is this.

Sounds like you're rather butthurt your political team is facing a possible recall.
