Just got back from Kroger and as I pulled in a shopping kart was being blown across the parking lot. Already getting wind and the bad stuff is hours away.

So for those in Lafayette, would you say this was worse for the city than Laura? I’m seeing a lot more people are out of power this time around.

I'd tell him to have a drink and calm down, but then he'd just try to drive somewhere.

Perkins from Quail to Essen lost power on the Kenilworth side

Lights in Perkins aren’t even flashing. Cars are running them like there isn’t even an intersection there. Someone will get hurt there.

Whatever is left of the eastern core of the storm is getting decently close to the Mississippi River.
