re: Scott Field is the 3x National Title winner - MullenBoys
Mississippi State's Scott Field is a 3x national champion for " Field of the Year" and yes we're hanging a banner
Dude, I agree with you and yes many articles have been written about Scott field but what you are doing in bringing attention to our field is this; now someone is gonna...

re: Ole Miss 84th in Recruiting? - MullenBoys
Recruiting to a coaches needs is far different than the stars of Ole Miss vs MSU. Both Leach and Kiffin know what they want. I have no fear of our offense, my only fear is did Leach hire a good DC. MSU always gets good DL and every other year good LB. At times we get lucky with CB’s. I want ...

re: Leach and Kiffin both hate being at their Mississippi schools - MullenBoys
So, why did Kiffin turn down Arkansas to take the Ole Miss job to begin with?
Obviously because he liked Oxford. While I hate Ole Miss (only because you are in-state rival) it’s a true college town. Ignore that clown, he’s just trying to see what sells....
Hearing both regret taking their current jobs.
And your sources are? You sound like so many who say “A good source told me” yada yada yada. You got drunk, bored, made this up and hoped people would fall for it. End of story. But thanks for another shitty thread....

re: Do BowlJackson, Ms. Garrison and Stalin represent the Auburn Fan Base? - MullenBoys
It’s interesting because every Auburn fan I know is extremely left wing. I don’t know if that is a good representation of the rest of their fans but the ones I do know are very very left wing, almost to the point of communists....
You literally had your best player refuse to play until your STATE stopped flying it’s treason rag lol
He’s not our best player and 10 to 1 says he’ll never play in the NFL. ...
You literally had your best player refuse to play until your STATE stopped flying it’s treason rag lol
And you literally had a college professor along with a campus of SJW’s acting a fool and gave the rest of us material to mock you and make fun of your stupid University free of ch...

re: What Is Your Favorite/Least Favorite SEC Game Day Traditions? - MullenBoys
No I was serious. Not knocking Miss State, but it was the working class school and that was a time when populism was an important political current so there were class tensions throughout the region.
Probably a lot of truth to that to be honest but I wasn’t alive back then. But yea...

re: What Is Your Favorite/Least Favorite SEC Game Day Traditions? - MullenBoys
Wasn't kind of a class warfare thing? The Old Mrs student body was from the old planter class who ridiculed Mississippi State as a school for the working class rednecks, so having cowbells was a way to "embrace" the stereotype
Not sure if you are being sarcastic / cute or actually ...

re: What Is Your Favorite/Least Favorite SEC Game Day Traditions? - MullenBoys
The most popular legend is that during a home football game between State and arch-rival Mississippi, a jersey cow wandered onto the playing field. Mississippi State soundly whipped the Rebels that Saturday, and State College students immediately adopted the cow as a good luck charm. Students are sa...

re: What Is Your Favorite/Least Favorite SEC Game Day Traditions? - MullenBoys
Calling the hogs tradition has been around since the 20s I believe. Farmers that went to the game at time, would call the hogs to encourage the team when they were playing poorly. Now it is used to annoy and intimidate opposing fans and players.
Oh yes, how traditions are born. B...

re: So with talk of possibly moving FB to spring, what happens to baseball? - MullenBoys
Maybe 1% of what football makes. Baseball pays for itself. Football pays for the entire athletic department
I’m not comparing baseball money to football but when you add in everything like tickets, concession revenues, 50 + games, rent on sky boxes etc etc, baseball sells of merch...

re: What Is Your Favorite/Least Favorite SEC Game Day Traditions? - MullenBoys
I agree, but when MSU takes those damn cowbells on the road it makes everyone hate you
You are really trying hard there. If we are on the road at your house or any game on the road, our allotment of tickets is not exactly huge plus not everyone even brings one. You are trying to m...
ETA: also to answer your question... why not both??
That’s what I’m screaming. Even if you have to limit capacity, it’s time to get sports back. ETA: I know damn well MSU, Ole Miss, LSU, A&M, (Probably Auburn now), South Carolina for sure make money off baseball. Fans of othe...

So basically hate everyones tradition but your own? Everyone has their own unique tradition. It’s what makes college ball so great. Rocky top to Calling the hogs, if you’re at their house deal with it....

So with talk of possibly moving FB to spring, what happens to baseball? - MullenBoys
Is this one of those deals that they hope fans spend a weekend and have FB played at nights on Saturdays and move baseball games up to like 2PM so people can get to see both? Or is spring FB still going to only allow like 20% capacity along with baseball....
