Low in Texas, and high pressure system ridge directly over Florida.
Delta's interaction with Gamma will dictate a lot of whether it goes west or east. Levi said due to the uncertainty of that interaction, storm has the possibility to make landfall anywhere within NHC's cone.

Since they retire hurricane names to avoid confusion in the future with past stronger “better” hurricanes the name “Delta” will he replaced on the list with “American Airlines”.
