I don’t have any specific examples..but no one came close to hitting harder than Toby Caston. It was like every game he almost killed someone. RIP Toby

On a punt return TD.
Video showed the block and then we heard Neck play in the background. That's a complete video.

was Nicky Savoie that hot the Ole Miss LB.
Sure was. This was the first big hit that came to mind. I saw him out in a bar not long after that and went up to him and said “nice hit” He just smiled his arse off.

Hardest Hits In Tiger Football History

I remember once Caston knocked some guy into a metal sideline AC unit at one end of the LSU bench in front of the student section. You could hear it clang all over the stadium.

Most viscous hit I ever saw live in Tiger stadium.
I think at first he was going for the INT but figured out at the last second that Adams was going to get there first so he really didn’t have a lot of time to protect himself in the hit. He just went for the obliteration hoping he would prevent the catch.
Both players def looked concussed with Adams showing the fencing pose at first. Both players should not have been allowed to go back in after that.
Tough sumbiches both.
Incredible hit.

Chaisson's hit on the Georgia Southern's running back was brutal

Most vicious hit I ever saw in Tiger Stadium was Godfrey Miles of Florida when he laid out Todd Kinchen

That hit against Auburn in 2001 was Michael Clayton. He smoked him.
I can't recall if he fumbled that one but they fumbled the next one out of fear.
That was a great game because we did something crazy at the start after a penalty like onside kick from the 50, we scored and then Clayton murdered that guy, and we scored again. Game was over before it started.
ETA: found it. 2001 AU game. The War Beagles got penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct for jumping on the eye at midfield. We onside kicked, got it and scored. We kicked off and Clayton leveled that guy.
Then they onside kicked (after their 1st possession and TD) and we recovered.
Then later Mayes recovers a fumble because their returner Roderick Hood was scared shitless of being killed.
This site right here kicks arse.
That game was the one postponed after 9/11 and was basically a miniplayoff as the winner went to Atlanta to face the winner of UT/UF (UT won). We go one to Atlanta befuddle UT with the Mauck QB draw, deny them their trip to the Rose to play for the MNC Then we whupped Illinois in New Orleans while it snowed everywhere in Louisiana.

Ya..it was like he lived to get the big hit...he wasn’t close to being the greatest linebacker ..but he wanted you to know who got the tackle..lol

Casanova’s hit of Alabama’s Musso by the side line probably around the late 60’s or early 70’s. Musso has never recovered.

It was! He blew that dude up!!
Jarvis Landry nailed a KR in the ‘11 Auburn game.
Our WR don’t like Auburn

Toughest hit in my life I’ve seen
Posted on 9/22/20 at 4:09 pm to LafourcheTiger
May have happened against Ole Miss but I know it also happened against Arkansas in 1995 exactly as I described. 28-0 win to vault us to the Indy Bowl against Saban.

Chad Jones on Bama QB his freshman year is the best
Posted on 9/22/20 at 4:47 pm to Techdog89
Don't remember the exact year but Clarence LeBlanc in the late 90s had a monster hit on a kickoff return. Besides it being a monster hit, it stood out because he was playing with a broken arm and had a huge white cast that looked like a club.
