Does this help or hurt Trump? I would be a bit concerned that conservatives might think they've won the battle and thus don't have to turn out anymore, and enraged liberals would be even more driven to the polls. But, on the flip side, maybe the liberals would be so demotivated that they wouldn't turn out as the defeat set in. I do think Trump needs to get Biden on the record on his stance on court packing. Boxing him in on that issue could help keep SCOTUS focused conservatives marching to the polls to prevent the Democrats from trying to pack the court.

Helps him.
Deflates liberals if anything.

It also is going to take away from Covid which is the biggest issue Dems are pushing.

This like the riots in August elevated Trump.

I don’t care if he replaced every current liberal judge before the election, there is no way anything is keeping me for going to the polls and voting for president Trump.

If the Senate confirms Trump's SC nominee I would put it in the win column. The only way Trump loses this election is through mail in voting irregularities and other Dim voting shenanigans.

Anything that takes COVID out of the spotlight is a win for Trump

Your concern is noted. It seems to note a whiff of fear though.

Thanks. Have a nice day.

Why would your scenario not work in reverse?

Perhaps the liberals don't go to the polls because they don't have to turn out anymore.

If anyone is voting for Trump based on him being able to pick SCJ over Biden, it will help motivate them. This will give him his 3rd in his first term, and there is a chance for 2-4 more in his second term.

The left on DU* are angry but grasping. It has been fun to watch the RINO's break their hearts one after another. They are all discouraged and seem to think that Nancy has some magic arrows she promised.

I look forward to drinking a fresh round of tears when those arrows never materialize. They are angry but totally demoralized.

Dems will show their arse during the confirmation hearings. That didnt play well the last time they did it. Kamala going out there and trying to attack the character of an innocent female justice will not play well with voters.

They will also be going full crazy on court packing and "burning down the system" while Biden winks and nods at the radicals.

Once party will have the constitution on their side, the other will just have "dying wishes" and "they are hypocrites" as their argument.

helps as we can't have 4-4 after the dems contest the election and make them recount the pregnant chads.

Helps trump because the left will go insane and show their asses, just like they've been doing all summer. Rational people should realize how looney they have become and not want any part of that.

POTUS needs to go SCOTUS and ignore the slovenly Democrats.

He will and win.

If he can get the house back next year with Trumplicans replacing rino's it's going to be a wonderful ride.

If the democrats just let the process go through and didn’t act like clowns it could help them or be a wash. But if they attach the nominee it’s going to help Trump especially if the nominee if a female.

You get this done before the election and it will deflate Dems.

It will pump up the Republicans-even the never trumpers somewhat- because they will see undeniable conservative results.

And it will help us win when we have a stronger majority of the SC to deal with the election results fallout.

This is a slam dunk if it can happen.

Add in 3Q good economy news. Add in a vaccine announcement. Add in a debate win fro Trump.

The momentum on the Trump Train is looking potentially very tough to stop.

seems to me it helps.

and interestingly the SC nomination process was CLEARLY NOT A PART of what the Dem-Marxists were strategizing for..

Their violence, chaos, impeachments, deception, and destruction got smashed right back in their faces due to this.

Their behavior of the last 4 years was an instantaneous reason for rejecting every bit of their complaints about replacement of RBG. They made their bed of sedition and insurrection, let the bastard lowlife lie in it... Goes for every one of their supporters too
