RBG's dying wish is evidence of "White Privilege."

I have enough grudging respect for Ginsburg to believe she said no such thing - This may have been her fervent desire, but I refuse to believe that she actually said that.

This is another made up piece of bullshite proffered by the maggots of the radical socialist ideology.

I do believe she "hung on" for political reasons, but to leave that as her 'last word' would have destroyed her legacy of intelligence and legal morality.

True.

From RobinMasters thread (Time Magazine)

quote:

In an interview with journalist Charlie Rose this week, Ginsburg stressed the importance of having nine justices on the Supreme Court, which has had just eight members since Antonin Scalia died in February. Senate Republicans have refused to hold confirmation hearings for President Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, arguing that it should be the responsibility of the next president to nominate a new justice. quote: Asked what she would like the Senate to do, Ginsburg demurred. “I would like to see the court have a full house by the time this term ends,” she said. The Supreme Court stops hearing cases in April, convening in May and June only to announce orders and opinions.

Her wishes are irrelevant after cocaine Mitch does another bump

Yeah. I'm sure she had wishes for years and a "dying"wish that she be replaced in the manner she "preferred". But she is dead and it falls into Pres. Trump's hands to decide now how to replace her. She may not get her dying wish. Oh and except for small snippets I pick up here in Poli Talk, I have no intention of watching a single second of blathering, posturing, threatening or anything about this on the TV. I don't need any esteemed person on the tube to tell me how much I should miss her.

I’m calling bullshite. If this was her last dying wish, the words she utters on her death bed, this tells you all you need to know about progressives and politics.

Stopped reading there.

Her name is Clara Spera for those inclined to research the name of the granddaughter. And I do not care what her wishes were.

When will we get back to a time where people are not consumed by politics?

It’s a wish, not a command. It’s perfectly okay for RBG - a great person, BTW - to wish for delay and a democrat President, or at least a democrat Senate that could force a compromise. I wish she does not get her wish. Is my wish also unacceptable?

Amen. And even if it was, it's just that, a wish. Her opinion on how and when and by whom her seat is filled, is completely irrelevant. This bullshite of a 'balanced' court, or filling a woman's spot with another woman, or all this other made up crap needs to go away, forever. None of that shite matters.

Whoa there! People aren’t pieces of shite because they disagree with you. That’s what many on the left think, and that’s what drives the cancel culture.

RBG was beloved by political allies and foes alike. Are you aware, for example, that Antonin Scalia was a dear friend of hers? This was a good woman!
