On days where he wasn’t spreading the gospel and helping the elderly.

But doesn’t that mean he was possibly a drug pusher and he ratted out the bigger guy? Not sure if all the terms of the hierarchy of the drug syndicate

I'm sure he was informed of the consequences of any further criminal activity when he agreed to snitch.

I doubt it would have been anything much more than any other felon in town b/c they put "snitch" in parenthesis. All I take that too mean is, the police may had told Floyd he could snitch to them on any wrong doing of others he knew of and they wouldn't use his name.

There is a theory going around that Floyd was a snitch for the PD against the bar that he and the officer who killed him worked at (drug/human trafficking). The theory claims that this was a hit on Flyod for snitching.

Not sure how valid the theory is, but there are pieces that fit.

I haven’t heard or read about that theory per se, but do remember reading that Floyd and chauvin worked after hours at the same nightclub. If they knew each other prior to the day of Floyd’s death, it definitely puts a different twist on this story. My bet is on chauvin being a dirty cop on the take, and Floyd knew about it and threatened to “snitch” on him.
