Very, very well done

The NBA broadcasting presentation has been atrocious, preachy, and hamfisted

This has been great.

I don't want to hear about it at all. How about that?

So it's not shoving SJW crap in our face, it's "respecting the issue"?

Hmm I didn’t hear anything about the lack of parental guidance in the black community, must’ve missed that part of the broadcast.

I wish they would stand up for something they can actually control, like domestic violence. NFL players are just a bunch of women beaters.

Goodell may also have used it as a litmus test to see what the press reaction is before moving forward with a stronger message. I guarantee the left is going to press for more focus on the Black Lives Matter aspect.

Nothing more idiotic than an organization built on the backs of capitalism to promote Marxism. The first thing these communist will do is destroy any traditional American institution which includes the NFL.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on that.

Collinsworth opened with "my job is to call the game, BUT I FEEL THE NEED TO SAY ____". So, right off the bat it was there. They panned the Chiefs during the anthem, there was one guy kneeling. Just one; and I know that because they cameras stayed on him for most of it.

I found myself surfing away at times, and missed halftime. This, even though I'm starved for football. I found the Miami-UAB game and watched a series, even though it looked like a mismatch.

And he said 30 seconds worth on shite, before ending with "and that is all I will say, because this is about football."

It was fantastic.

Sorry...

it was 30 seconds too much. That's not fantastic. Fantastic would have been "As am sure you're aware, there are many things going on in the country right now. But this is a football game, and we're all here together to enjoy the sportsmanship and competition. If you want more details and opinions on other matters, there's at least a half dozen other channels covering it, with people more pretentious than I claiming to be experts in it".

At least you’re honest. I respect that. A lot of people who liked your post are the same ones who said their problem with it was all about disrespecting the flag, and now that they’ve come up with a way to make the same statement without possibly being interpreted as disrespecting the flag, it’s something else all together that bothers them.

The NFL, the NBA, MLB, etc...are having ZERO effect on anything, other than destroying their own fan bases. These elitists pretending to care about the common man on the street is laughable at best.
