Day 2 done. Not a bad day again but I love front squats…my favorite squat variation.

I’d assume deadlifts are gonna be part of the workout tomorrow or Thursday. That’s probably the day that will kick my arse

I'm thinking light weights, high reps tomorrow to get some good stretching and move some blood through the legs.

Day 2 down!

I was right at 65min, but that includes about 10 min of stretching and empty bar lifts.

Front squats at 50% were definitely easier on the legs compared to the back at 80%. Back squats felt better the further into the sets I got. If I had to pick a weak spot for today, it was the last set of chin-ups.

Day 2 was heavy. 315 fir the 3x3 was rough. Front squats felt good at 45%.

Squats felt better than yesterday for some reason. I was a little nervous because those last few reps were tough yesterday.

BB curl destroyed me today. I had to go down on weight each set with the short rest.

I'll need to bring my range finder to the gym to see how far 40 yards is.

It’s about half a sand wedge.

10 sets of deadlift seems a bit ridiculous.

Do 5 sets of 6 instead. Same volume.

Mah hips are feeling mighty greasy and warm. In the past, daily squatting always resulted in greater confidence to increase the tempo of the descent while maintaining balance, and I think that is because the daily squatting simply limbered me up more and worked out any kinks or sniggles in my joints. My hips and knees(which are in pretty decent shape for 44 almost 45 years old)just feel to move smoother and easier now, the 3 sets of 5 are kind of a burner with 2 minutes rest, but the 3 of 3 is perfection.

Front squat is still a learning process for me, I never did front squat until I started Grasshopper 7 weeks ago, so including today I've done front squat 5 times now. Before today, 195lbs was the most I had attempted, but I threw 225lbs on there and did okay. I lost balance at the top of the 3rd rep on the second set and had to step back with my left foot and that made me dump the bar on the hooks really fast. Reset. Finished the last 2 reps and then did the 3rd set no problem by just going much slower and making sure the sleeves/plates weren't slowly spinning when I started my descent.

Had a brain fart and forgot to superset the press and chins, but in hindsight don't know how I'd do press and chins superset when my chin up bar is part of my squat stands and is directly underneath the bar I'm using for press. I'll just have to plan that out better next time or modify.

Day two was great - back holding up relatively well. Worried about the 30 deadlifts tomorrow. Really need to focus down on each rep.

Yeah, that's going to be the challenge today.

I've been doing the Brace Yourself prequal for four weeks, and still can't hold a decent 50% front squat yesterday.

Looking forward to today, as it seems more chill, but i think that at the beginning of each of his days
