Pretty cool for Nash, although getting Kyrie in your first coaching job does not sound great

Yeah...I mean someone like Nash who has been there can probably do it.

I would want someone with a degree in psychology.

Is it the truth or are you talking trash, your game MVP like Steve Nash.

Let’s hope Nash’s tantric energy aligns with Kyries neuron radiation so they can see third eye to third eye.

Wow. I had zero idea he even wanted to coach.

So while he's not proven at all, he does have a very high basketball iq. Maybe it works out well

Apparently, he didn't at all.

Tsai and Marks had to sell him on it for weeks.

Did Steve Nash make some bad investments?

He should have way too much money to deal with this headache.

Lot of athletes miss the competition more than the money

He probably views it as “I get one of the 3 best players on the planet as a first year coach. I can win a championship here with that”

I just want to bookmark this post so I can remind the OP to just change it to "The Nets fire Steve Nash" in 3 years.

In case y'all didn't know, Nash's previous job was a soccer (yes, soccer) analyst for Turner's Champions League coverage. Turner surrendered the rights to CBS a couple months ago.

So basically he's going from commenting on soccer on a couple of Tues and Wed afternoons to coaching a freaking NBA team.

Honestly, I don't get why Mark Jackson gets so much hate.

He was a 50-win coach in his last season in GS. He hasn't gotten a coaching gig since.

Dig a little deeper. Dude was a paranoid lunatic weirdo that created a completely toxic environment, pitting the players versus each other (festus ezili), the lockerroom vs the front office, and assistant coaches versus each other. He had a massive paranoid inferiority complex.

It is well documented what a total loon and piece of garbage he was, and he hasn't made any friends as a commentator either.

Dude sucks, and no FO is ever going to touch him.

To the loon part, the steph curry story alone would make me not touch him.

Yeah no kidding - he was moonlighting as a soccer pundit and now he's the head coach of a NBA team in a New York market - what a time to be alive.

This is great for the Pels. Takes a high profile gig off the market and all top choices remain.

I'll assume Ty Lue to 6ers.
