Friend,

That will be a very early Front Day, if it pans out! I shall tell Mother and we will get the hot chocolate out of the pantry. Will you join us?

Yours,
TulaneLSU

P.S. For those not familiar with Front Day, it is the first sensual day of Autumn, which does not necessarily occur in Autumn, but does occur in either September or October. In short, it is the first Saturday that is sunny, cool, and dry after the long heat of summer. To be a Front Day, the low has to reach 60 degrees or less. Mother invented this New Orleans holiday in 1986, and has hosted a hot chocolate social annually since.

Are they giving betting odds on this? I’d easily take the Over.

I'm always super happy when I see places hire developmentally disabled people

I'm just glad that the field of meteorology is so welcoming

Why is Harris county orange in the middle of all that cool green.
Is it the riot fires?

That cool, that will push out any teal left after this pass storm.

Still looking to book a trip with my daughter, SIL and grandson. Problem, I need a place that I can be dropped off right at a blind. No way for me to walk. Also, myself, I will not be hunting. Can't lift a shotgun, but just want to get out there with my family one more time.

Anybody have a idea of a set up like that?

It's supposed to start on the 4th with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s. It's supposed to go down to highs in the upper 70s lows around 60.
