Jesus Christ they made more than two commercials with the second guy and he has more than one actual line per commercial.

Yeah, it was weird. The new one is called "the real deal" as if to say that the old one was inauthentic. If they were just targeting the black demographic, why did he specifically need to be "Jake, and why are all of the people Jake helps in the commercials white?
It feels a little like the thing the British entertainment media has been doing, replacing white characters with black ones, even if it's a period piece that takes place in Victorian England among the royal family.
