What a GREAT speech...read succinctly and clearly off the teleprompter. Big step for Biden. Unfortunately, no teleprompter during debates. This shite is a joke....

He's not riding high. The media always says the dem wins the day. He'll stumble and drool his way through the debates similarly and universally be declared the winner.

Not only reading a teleprompter but never taking his eyes off of the one teleprompter. They knew if he scanned to there he would have been a mess.

The pitchfork story he continues to recite is lol hilarious. Even my 11 year old busted out laughing while watching that. What I don’t understand is if the Klan was there to attack black people why were they screaming about Jews?

Blame Fox News for setting up the fake angle of a low bar. It’s not actually a real thing but Fox News has to do their part to help the Dems as much as they can.

What is all the chatter about him reading a teleprompter?
EVERY politician uses a teleprompter to deliver speeches in formal settings like this. This was his formal speech after accepting the nomination to run as the Democrat nominee for president. It wasn't a stump speech at a high school gym. Of course he's going to use a teleprompter.
And he was delivering the speech to the television viewers, not a live crowd, so, of course, he's going to look directly at the camera and not gaze left and right. Why would he? There was no one in the River Chase Center for him to look at. He would have looked like a fool if he had pretended he was speaking to a live audience.

There whole fricking DNC was one infomercial after another. The RNC will be mostly LIVE. You want the energy from the crowd. Trump will cut Sleepy Joe a new one in the debates where there is NO teleprompter.

I know a 6th Grader that could’ve easily read & performed those theatrics. It’s like a Rah Rah Go Team Go act & a complete waste of time & lack of substance. Spare me!

It’s not a real issue, the gaffs aren’t going anywhere and reading off a teleprompter all alone doesn’t impress voters. Sure it’s a talking point for Dems and since that seems to be the total sum of their ammo these days good for them. The problem is that the people who need convincing didn’t change their mind on Biden after tonight.

he still messed up the speech, one line that stuck out to me was "there is nothing America can build when we come together".
Also when they have the zoom debate you better believe Biden will have a teleprompter with all his answers loaded.
