With the team of lawyers at the Presidents side. I don't think he is bluffing.

But with all of this you would think we would hear that the POS in Congress would all go to work on this today. Instead they are on another break. Turtle is still there though----In his DC mansion. Nancy and Schumer are gone but can recall back with 24 hours notice.

It looks like they have until the end of the week and Trump has Plan B ready. I doubt Pelosi does anything unless she gets near 3 trillion to bail out the USPS for dem mail in ballots and bail-out rioted bankrupt dem States.

He wasn't bluffing. He meant today regarding by the end of the week. He is on the phone with them at all times in between golfing making the media melt down. I love it!

Damn. I’d love to see him do all this. Surprised to see so much support from this board

Just as I was against Obama using EO I’m against this, especially the 600 kicker...

I’m sure he’s forcing the Dems hand with it, but if he goes through

So no federal payroll tax taken out for the rest of year? Would we owe that money in April or just not have to pay it? How does that work?

I'm not sure the USPS can legally administer a National Election. Voting method is a State Right/determination and the USPS is national.

This is a VERY dangerous action. I recognize that Obama and Roberts set the precedent for this type of action but it is 100% unconstitutional. Today it’s “our guy” so it’s OK. Remember that someday the election pendulum swings.
It is for these types of situations that I was happy to not have to vote for Trump last go around. He is in no way a conservative and if he acts on his own- with his phone and his pen- he is accelerating the destruction of our democratic republic

We need to know if the deferred payroll tax just means a balloon payment at the end of the year. If so, that's useless.

The Dems will object, possibly even sue, and might even prevail. But he will have them on record and backed in a corner on not wanting to help Americans.

If he were to dump the payroll tax retroactive to July 1, by year end I would have over $4,650 extra.

That would pay off three bills of mine, plus several of my SO.

Not a fan of the evictions ban. Let landlords and tenants work it out.
