I think they have track nailed at La\Tx border
I agree with this but I think it has the potential to come more inside Louisiana at the border than currently shown..

Dude you've been wishcasting the ENTIRE thread lol. Almost every comment you make has to do with BR, or the storm potentially trending east.

Wishcasting over wobbles. All signs still point to a landfall around the state line give or take 10-15 miles either direction.
A southern wobble moved the track west, why should we ignore other wobbles because they don’t marry up with the current track?

What's the weird thing about Vidor?
I've never stopped there.

What I got from the tropical tidbits video in a nutshell. Laura is more North than they expected so the eastern projections are more likely.
I'll provide the context since you failed to
What I assume you're talking about is when he brought up the Euro ensemble
he pointed out a specific lat/long point and said since it's going to run north of this point... you can probably (ETA: key word here... probably) write off the ensemble members that have it going west of Houston/Galveston
the rest of those ensemble members were from Houston/Galveston to Cameron Parish with 1 or 2 a little further east than that

I bet this thing ends up further East than they think
A guy was on KTRH at 3:30 and said the storm had been tracking south of the NHS forecast track all day.

There were models to support moving the track west, including a well respected Euro model. Even in that scenario the track only shifted to the west slightly. You have people ready to shift this cone over 100 miles to Vermilion Bay with little to no data to support it other than "It is moving more north"

If you say so, I live in BR so naturally most my post are about home. I have zero desire to have it come here.
I thought the point of the thread was to discuss the storm and possible scenarios...
Have I said it MIGHT come east, sure. Its my opinion, am I right? Who knows. I also do NOT think it will leave the border but could be east of it. Sorry, my opinion and posts upset you....

It’s NOT about gut feelings based off of absolutely nothing
It’s NOT about filling the thread with false information that people could misinterpret
You have been shite posting all thread with zero data to back your “guesses” up

Is the next major update 10 pm like last night?
ETA: At what point do we start seeing updates more often than every couple hours?

Neighbor works at the parish police jury — he’s sending us in our neighborhood the texts that he gets from the OEP.
Latest one says “next update at 10 am”. I’m like y’all are missing a few between now and then. I mean I’m assuming they’re watching NHC info.
I’m just glad I have people here to count on for good info.

A guy in Houston saying it's south meaning it'll hit farther west and people in Louisiana saying it's north meaning it'll hit farther east. You gotta love it.

At some point, doesn’t the NHC start doing updates every 2 hours?
