Gilla is still making beer to-go only which you order online and then pickup at the brewery on Saturdays. I just can’t hang out at the brewery, drink gilla beer on draft, watch sports, and chomp down Don Beto barbacoa burritos.

Queso (one of the best I've ever had)
The cheese was also so bland. Why not use better cheeses?

the best thing they have is the Missionary Style "secret" taco, off menu but hardly a secret

Well, it’s not open to the public now, but pre-covid, it’d just be whatever sport was on tv at that moment. It opened last fall, so I was usually there during football games, but I think I remember seeing a hockey game on at some point. There wasn’t much ambiance about the place as it’s just a small spot in a strip mall with some tvs and a couple arcade games. Just good beer and good friends (I grew up going to school with one of the owners).

They didn’t have the bottle rocket shrimp taco last weekend. They said since they just opened they were focusing on the regular menu and didn’t have any specialty items. Maybe call before to see if they have it. It might be that they have since added it.
